About the Sandia Bears

The Sandia Bears is a group of gay men identifying as bears or bear admirers in New Mexico committed to charitable fundraising and social frivolity. We are working on our Web site to make it possible to join there, but it is not quite ready. However, our postal address is:

Our annual dues are $20. You may mail your dues and registration to the address above. Please be sure to include your email address, postal address, age and phone number.
We've been around since Spring 2007, so for a little over a year now. We did our first bear run this year, hopefully the first of many. We exist to raise funds for chairty, to strengthen the gay community of Albuquerque, to work for equality, and to have a good time doing those things. We are affiliated with our brother club, the Bears of Maņana, and often there will be quite a bit of crossover between the two clubs. If you want to join our group, just show up to one of our meetings with your dues and we'll sign you up, or you can send your dues to the address above. If you have any questions, feel free to ask any of the officers listed below and they'll be glad to answer you.
